It's ideal for smaller organizations, immediate decision-making needs, or as preparation for larger planning efforts.
Cancellation Policy
Heritage in Motion Consulting The initial 1-hour consultation is conducted remotely and does not include any additional expenses. For all services beyond the initial consultation, certain project-related expenses may apply. These will always be discussed and approved in advance. Travel & Mileage When in-person work is required, the following may apply: Mileage billed at the current IRS standard rate Lodging for overnight travel, when necessary Airfare or other transportation for longer-distance travel Reasonable effort will be made to minimize travel costs. Meals & Incidentals For full-day or multi-day engagements requiring travel, reasonable meal and incidental expenses may be included. Materials & Production Some projects may require additional materials or third-party services, including: Printing and production (e.g., interpretive signage) Graphic design or layout services Photography or image licensing Venue rental or meeting space Facilitation materials These costs will be: estimated in advance whenever possible approved by the client prior to purchase Subcontractors & Specialists If a project requires outside expertise (e.g., designers, fabricators, or technical specialists), those costs will be: clearly identified approved by the client billed at cost or as agreed Billing & Reimbursement Expenses may be invoiced separately or included in project invoices Receipts can be provided upon request Payment terms will follow the same schedule as project invoices unless otherwise agreed Transparency & Flexibility Heritage in Motion Consulting is committed to transparency and cost-conscious planning. Wherever possible, work will be structured to: minimize expenses align with available budgets support phased or grant-funded approaches All expenses will be discussed openly before they are incurred.
